Champion Yaris vom Schwaiger Rathaus
A Legacy of Excellence
The late CH Yaris vom Schwaiger Rathaus remains one of the most influential Rottweilers ever owned and loved by Craffenheim. Born from a world-class pairing, Yaris carried the strength, intelligence, and unmistakable presence of his sire Utz vom Hause Anin—a celebrated Klubsieger, DT.VDH/ADRK Champion and VPG3 working dog of exceptional character. His dam, the legendary Sofie vom Schwaiger Rathaus, was an International Champion, multi-title holder and ADRK Klubsiegerin 2009, known for her perfect balance of working ability and correct conformation.
The title "Gekört bis EzA" signifies that Yaris achieved the highest possible breeding recommendation from the ADRK. The Körung evaluates morphology, temperament, ability, and behaviour, and requires successful ZTP, IPO3 and high show ratings. After initially qualifying for two years, by completing the process again he earned “Gekört bis EzA,” confirming his permanent breeding suitability and status as a top-tier example of the breed.
Yaris inherited robustness, confidence, stable temperament and true working spirit. With beautiful type and kind nature, he touched everyone who knew him. His legacy continues through the generations he helped shape.
Yaris’s grandson, CH Craffenheim Ice (owned by D.Vosloo) was SA Klubsieger and Best in Breed in 2024 and holds BA BH BST SPV1 VH titles.
Another grandson, Craffenheim Rip (owned by D. Swanepoel) has BST successfully passed.
Chris vom Schwaiger Rathaus
Strength, Spirit & a Lasting Legacy
The late Chris vom Schwaiger Rathaus BA BH ZTP IPO3 stands as one of the most influential males behind Craffenheim’s bloodlines. His sire Balou vom Norderdiek—a Klubsieger and Bundessieger with IPO3—paired with the genetics of the iconic Sofie vom Schwaiger Rathaus, an International and multi-country Champion, ADRK Klubsiegerin 2009 and IPO3 working legend.
Chris embodied everything a true German Rottweiler should be: strong, driven, intelligent, stable, with excellent work ethic and willingness to please. His offspring, including some of Craffenheim’s finest females and males, consistently carried strong working drive, correct structure and intuitive temperament.
Chris’s grandson, CH Craffenheim Remy-Martin (owned by P.Gorre) is a KUSA Champion.
Champion Devil Earl Antonius
A Legacy of Power, Movement & Excellence
The late Champion Devil Earl Antonius remains one of the most influential sires shaping the Craffenheim bloodlines. He was sired by Tito Earl Antonius, ADRK Klubsieger V1 with international youth titles and working certifications including BH, ZTP and IPO1. His dam, Bianca of Silver Fild KG, added depth, balance and correctness.
In South Africa, Devil earned SA Klubsieger Champion titles in 2013 and 2015. His strong, fluid and effortless movement became his trademark and was consistently passed down.
Devil’s influence remains through his descendants, most notably his grandson Craffenheim Ice, who became SA Klubsieger and Best of Breed in 2024 and a Specialist Breed Champion.
Devil Earl Antonius was more than a champion; he was a cornerstone of the Craffenheim breeding program. His strength, type, temperament and spectacular movement continue shaping the future generations of South African Rottweilers.

At Craffenheim Rottweilers, a deceased dog remains an irreplaceable part of who we are. These extraordinary Rottweilers—guardians, companions, teachers and legends—helped shape our breeding program and elevate the standard of the breed. Through their progeny, we proudly preserve treasured ADRK bloodlines carried forward from kennels including: vom Schwaiger Rathaus (Xaver Meixner), vom Schwaiger Wappen (Claudia Meixner), vom Hause Neubrand, vom Hause Anin, and von der Crossener Ranch vom Norderdiek
Their genetics, character and working spirit continue to flow through every Craffenheim litter, ensuring the true German Rottweiler remains correct and thriving.
Those who have passed on are laid to rest on our farm beneath tall trees, watching over the land they once ruled. We see them living on in the eyes, movement and temperament of their descendants. Their legacy remains a lineage built on love, excellence and deep gratitude.
Retired Dogs
At Craffenheim Rottweilers, retirement is a reward. Our retired males and females remain on the farm, living their days in comfort, dignity and joy. Once their breeding careers are complete, they step into a life filled with exercise, playtime, swimming, soft beds, shaded rest areas and affection.
They enjoy premium nutrition, personalised supplements, and continued veterinary care. At Craffenheim, a Rottweiler’s value is never diminished, replaced or forgotten—our retirees live as Kings and Queens, cherished and honoured for the rest of their days.
